SwissKraut PorkChops

Ingredients:
Boneless Pork Chops
Salt
Pepper
Sauerkraut
Swiss Cheese Sliced or Shredded
Oil

Instructions:
Drizzle oil into a 9x13 baking dish. Place pork chops in dish without overlapping. Salt and pepper lightly. I don't do both sides, but if you like, turn the chops and salt and pepper both sides. Place sauerkraut around outside edges of dish and some in between chops, and, why not, some on top of the chops if you don't want browned chops. Otherwise stick to the program.
Place in preheated 305 degree oven. Bake, depending on thickness of chops, 45 to maybe 60 minutes. To brown chops but keep them moist, cover chops, with foil, immediately after browned. This will help keep everything juicy. When chops are done to your desired doneness (is that a word?) remove from oven and place slice(s) of Swiss on top of the sauerkraut you put on top of the browned chops before I said to add the cheese. (How many of you got that instruction?)

Serve with anything you heart desires. Ours always desire fresh bread and butter.
