Tea Biscuits

Ingredients:
2 cups of flour
1 tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 egg
2/3 cup milk

Instructions:
I would use a food processor with the kneading blade and just throw everything in the mixer. On a medium speed, beat til dough forms ball.  DO NOT over mix. Dough will be sticky. Flour you surface, hands and rolling pin.  Roll about 1 inch thick. Use a round cutter or a round container the size you want the biscuits (I use a drinking glass. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes (depending on your oven)
Do not over handle dough as it will become tough. The biscuits should be light and fluffy? Mine are usually light, but Fluffy? NOT! A tea biscuit is rather dense, like me! But, very tasty.
